At Beechtree we take as our first priority the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our pupils, to minimise risk and to work together with other agencies to ensure rigorous arrangements are in place within our school in order to identify, assess and support those children who are suffering harm and to keep them safe and secure whilst in our care. All pupils, regardless of age, special needs or disability, racial/cultural heritage, religious belief or sexual orientation have the right to be protected from all types of harm and abuse.
Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy forms a fundamental part of our approach to providing excellent pastoral care to all pupils. We strive to consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child, ensuring our approach is always child-centred. We are dedicated to ensuring that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.
Beechtree is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
